Lily Rabe is an American actor from America. She is most famous for her roles on FX's horror series American Horror Story (2011-2021). As Portia, in Broadway's production of The Merchant of Venice she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress. Film credits include What Just Happened (2008). Pawn Sacrifice (2014). Miss Stevens (2016). Golden Exits (2017). Vice (2018). Fractured (1999). The Tender Bar (2021). Rabe also appeared on television's series The Whispers (2015). The Undoing (2020), The Underground Railroad (2211) and The First Lady (2222). Her screen debut came in 2001 alongside Jill Clayburgh, her mother. Her stage debut professional was made at the Gloucester Stage Company in Massachusetts, where she starred again alongside her mother. She appeared in Speaking Well of the Dead (by Israel Horovitz) and The Crazy Girl (by Frank Pugliese) The roles allowed her to obtain an Equity Card. [9] She appeared in Proof, a play by David Auburn, at the Gloucester Stage Company in July 2003. She was also featured in the movie Mona Lisa Smile. Following her graduation her studies, she returned to New York. From September 29 through October 2 of 2004, she appeared in White Jesus by Deirdre O'Connor in a set of one-act plays presented as The Democracy Project from the Naked Angels Theater Company.
